Terms and Conditions
1. Enrolment and Payment
- 1.1 Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full term fees. A place cannot be held without payment.
- 1.2 Term fees are due in full at the start of each term. Regal Ballet reserves the right to withdraw a place if fees remain unpaid.
- 1.3 Fees are set each academic year and published on our website. Regal Ballet reserves the right to review fees annually.
2. Refund Policy
- 2.1 Term fees are non-refundable. No refund or credit will be given for classes missed by the student for any reason, including illness, holidays, or personal circumstances.
- 2.2 Fees will not be discounted, credited, or carried forward to a subsequent term if a student does not attend some or all classes within a term.
- 2.3 In exceptional circumstances, Regal Ballet may at its sole discretion offer a goodwill gesture. This does not create any precedent or ongoing obligation.
3. Missed Classes and Make-Up Lessons
- 3.1 If a student misses a class during a term, they may request a make-up lesson at an alternative Regal Ballet venue during the same term only.
- 3.2 Make-up lessons are subject to availability and must be booked in advance by contacting Regal Ballet directly.
- 3.3 Make-up lessons cannot be carried forward to a subsequent term under any circumstances.
- 3.4 Make-up lessons are a courtesy offered to currently enrolled students only and do not apply to students who are not enrolled in the current term.
4. Cancellation by the Parent or Guardian
- 4.1 If you wish to withdraw your child from classes, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
- 4.2 Withdrawal during a term does not entitle the parent or guardian to a refund of any fees already paid.
- 4.3 If you do not wish to re-enrol for the following term, please inform us before the enrolment deadline published on our website.
5. Cancellation by Regal Ballet
- 5.1 Regal Ballet reserves the right to cancel a class if there are insufficient numbers of students enrolled.
- 5.2 In the event of a class being cancelled by Regal Ballet, a make-up class will be offered or a pro-rata credit applied to the following term.
- 5.3 Regal Ballet reserves the right to change venues, times, or teachers where necessary. Reasonable notice will be given wherever possible.
6. Exam Entry
- 6.1 Exam entry fees are separate from term fees and are non-refundable once submitted to the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
- 6.2 Exam entry deadlines are set by the RAD. Regal Ballet cannot guarantee entry for registrations received after our internal submission deadline.
- 6.3 Exam certificates and medals are issued by the RAD and distributed to students at class following receipt by Regal Ballet. We are unable to expedite or guarantee the timing of their issue.
7. Student Welfare and Conduct
- 7.1 Regal Ballet is committed to providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all students.
- 7.2 Regal Ballet reserves the right to decline or withdraw enrolment where, in its reasonable opinion, the conduct of a parent, guardian, or student is detrimental to the wellbeing of students, staff, or the effective running of the school.
8. Photography and Media
- 8.1 Regal Ballet may take photographs or videos at classes, shows, or events for promotional purposes. By enrolling your child, you consent to this unless you notify us in writing to the contrary.
9. Liability
- 9.1 Regal Ballet takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of students in its care. However, Regal Ballet cannot accept liability for loss, injury, or damage unless caused by our negligence.
- 9.2 Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child is fit to participate in dance classes.
